FALMOUTH SHEEP & WOOL CO.
CAPE COD, MA
QUALITY.
At the heart of our farm is a deep commitment to quality - quality you can taste, feel, and trust. We believe in producing meat that not only tastes exceptional but is also nourishing for your body and gentle on the planet. Our wool products are crafted to stand the test of time, combining durability with natural beauty. From pasture to product, every step is guided by care, sustainability, and a desire to offer something truly worthwhile. When you choose our farm, you’re choosing goods raised and made with purpose.
TRADITION.
Rooted in the rich agricultural heritage of Falmouth, Massachusetts, we carry forward a proud legacy of shepherding and wool production. Our farm honors the generations that came before us by keeping these traditions alive, from the rhythm of seasonal grazing to the time-honored art of wool crafting. We also work to preserve the legacy of the traditional working border collie, valuing their intelligence, instinct, and irreplaceable role in pastoral life. For us, tradition isn’t about just looking back—but about continuing a way of life that still works, still matters, and still inspires.
EXCELLENCE.
Excellence means doing the right thing, even when it’s the hard thing. On our farm, we are uncompromising when it comes to the welfare of our animals and the stewardship of our land. Every decision is grounded in ethics, respect, and long-term sustainability. We believe that if you care for the land, the land will care for you—and that belief guides everything we do. Excellence is not just a goal; it's a responsibility. And we live that responsibility every day, with every animal, every pasture, and every product we offer.
The Sheep
We are proud to breed North Country Cheviot sheep. Known for their hardiness, mothering ability, and excellent meat quality, North Country Cheviot sheep are a valuable addition to any flock. Bred in the rugged hills of Scotland, they thrive in challenging conditions and produce lean, flavorful lamb and durable wool. Their strong conformation and independent nature make them ideal for low-input, pasture-based systems.
The Shepherds
Shepherds Simon and Diana are longtime friends who founded the Falmouth Sheep & Wool Company through a shared love of farming and working dogs.
